Summary:
Housecall Doctors PC is the leading geriatric home physician and nurse practitioner practice in the area! With over 15 years of service to the Northwest Indiana area, our office is growing once again! We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team.
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients to our elderly.
Your primary responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating illnesses, conducting physical examinations, and prescribing medications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geriatric, internal medicine, or home health.
Duties:
- Perform comprehensive physical assessments on patients - Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses - Order and interpret diagnostic tests - Develop and implement treatment plans - Prescribe medications and monitor patient response - Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care - Maintain accurate and detailed medical records - Adhere to nursing standards and protocols - Utilize aseptic technique during procedures
Qualifications:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Indiana - Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred - Proficient in medication administration and management - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
